Celebrate the season of love with a creative and relaxing afternoon at Purple Paisley, Local Artisan Shop. Join us on February 7th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM for a Valentine-themed quilling class led by local artist Diana Daniels. This special workshop invites you to slow down, create by hand, and make something meaningful.
Discover the Art of Quilling
Quilling is a centuries-old paper art that transforms simple paper strips into elegant designs. It is delicate, detailed, and surprisingly relaxing. Diana will introduce the basic tools, techniques, and design options. No prior experience is needed. Beginners and experienced crafters are equally welcome.
What You’ll Create
Each participant will receive a complete quilling kit. Your kit includes supplies to create one handmade card and one ornament in a design of your choice. You may finish one project during class and take the remaining materials home. This allows you to continue creating at your own pace. Your finished pieces are perfect for Valentine’s gifts or keepsakes.
Guided, Supportive Instruction
Throughout the class, Diana will guide you step by step. She will demonstrate rolling, shaping, and assembling quilled elements. Individual help is always available. The atmosphere is relaxed and encouraging. Creativity is celebrated at every level.
