Join local artist Sandy Zureick for an Artful Wraps pendant workshop. Discover the art of wire-wrapping in this engaging, hands-on jewelry making class. Whether you’re brand new to jewelry making or have some creative experience, this workshop will guide you through the process of transforming a natural stone into a stunning pendant you’ll be proud to wear or gift.
Using a hand-selected variety of agate and jasper stones, Sandy will demonstrate a simple wire-wrap technique perfect for beginners. You’ll learn how to secure your stone with wire while highlighting its natural beauty and turning it into a wearable piece of art. Along the way, Sandy will share tips and tricks to make your design unique.
Once you’ve created your pendant, you’ll also have the chance to watch Sandy demonstrate a more advanced wire weaving technique. Giving you inspiration and ideas for what’s possible as you continue practicing at home. Even if you don’t try the more advanced wrap during class, seeing the process will open up possibilities for your future jewelry projects.
This workshop is designed to be fun, relaxed, and creative. Sandy’s teaching style makes it easy to follow along, and you’ll have plenty of time to ask questions as you work. By the end of the afternoon, you’ll not only leave with a finished pendant but also with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to keep exploring wire-wrapping on your own.
All materials and tools are provided—just bring yourself and a willingness to experiment!
