On February 10th, design and create a pair of pearl cluster earrings. Add a teardrop. Select one color or mix it up. Join Helfrich Creations at Purple Paisley, Local Artisan Shop. In this class you will learn how to wire wrap individual pearl beads and link them together to form an attractive cluster earring or to top off a teardrop bead. You choose your color of metal — silver or gold. Choose what accents best enhance your design. Options include a variety of earring styles, various Swarovski Crystal Pearl beads and Swarovski Pearl bicones for accents. Come in and design away!!!
Feeling closed in due to the weather? Well this is a great event to get rid of the housebound blues. These earrings will also make a unique valentines day gift for yourself, your mother or a friend. So come get creative and maybe make a new friend. Just bring yourself and get ready to create your own cluster and teardrop earrings.

PEARLS
Pearls can be “real” or “simulated”. Pearls that are harvested from oysters are called real and those that are not are referred to as simulated. Several companies make simulated pearls and the quality varies. The Swarovski name is associated with their sparkling crystals, but they also make beautiful pearls. The pearls contain a crystal core that gives the pearl a realistic weight. They also have a specialized coating that gives them a realistic shimmer and appearance.
Since these pearls are “man-made” they come in various colors and shapes. As components for earring making, beautiful pearl beads help make a beautiful creation.
