This time, the focus shifts from tiny dots to graceful brushstrokes and flowing swoops that bring each design to life in festive golds, reds, and greens.
Tara’s round, black “stones,” custom-made just for her classes, form the base for your two ornaments. Their smooth surface makes the perfect canvas for bold color and luminous paint effects. You’ll start by learning the art of creating balanced, sweeping mandala patterns. Each shape builds rhythm, movement, and symmetry as you layer brushstrokes in carefully planned sequences. Tara will guide you step by step, offering tips on brush control, pattern flow, and color harmony.
Before starting your final ornaments, you’ll have time to practice — exploring how each brushstroke curves and connects to form a design that feels alive and joyful. As you paint, the process becomes peaceful and absorbing, a welcome pause from the holiday rush.
No experience is needed, and all supplies are provided. You’ll leave with two finished mandala ornaments. Each will shine with your personal style — perfect adorn a holiday table, or give as heartfelt handmade gifts.
