Meet Emily Rose – Artist/Photographer/Author
On December 9th, local artist, photographer, and author Emily Rose will be at Purple Paisley, Local Artisan Shop onsite bringing several new creations to life! She’ll have several pre-painted abstract backgrounds ready for a layer of line work done with metallic and acrylic paint pens.
Haven’t had a chance to meet Emily in person yet? This will be a great opportunity to do just that! Speak with her about her motivations, techniques, and even have the opportunity to see her creating in person. She will have a selection of her work with her at this time, as well as the work she has at Purple Paisley, you can view and purchase her paintings, photography, notecards and more.

About the artist Emily Rose –
Emily Rose is a fine art photographer, painter, and author. She is inspired most by the tiny bits of nature. She finds color and movement in the minute details that others may not notice in their everyday hustle and bustle. Her photography captures intricate moments in nature and gives you an up-close view of all the loveliness mother nature has to offer.
In her paintings, Emily likes to show her love of the intricate details found in nature that inspire her creations. She combines her love of nature with her love of drawing and coloring. In her creations, she uses a mixture of metallic and acrylic paints straight from the tube, acrylic paint pens, or watercolor brush pens. For intricate lines and dots she favors fine felt tipped pens. No matter what tools she is using, Emily is always highlighting the complexities of everyday life.
Emily also has recently co-authored “Radical Self-Love” by Jessica Hughes. Along with 60+ other beautiful souls, she helped give life to this book. She has been creating one-of-a-kind bookmarkers for the signed copies she sells. This book hit the #1 Best Seller in four countries when it was released on Amazon. She hopes to bring copies with her on the 9th, if they are available.
