About the artist Timothy Gold –
Timothy Gold has his own unique style. His style has been described as Minimalist as well as Colorist. He paints with acrylics using a hardedge style. He creates vibrant, colorful, happy works. His is a free brush stroke style encompassing several subjects – nature, landscapes, people.
Recently Tim has been focused on his Kool Kat series. These works focus on a stylized cat in various colors and with various embellishments. The works include larger paintings with stylized cats as well as his popular small canvas wrap works. Similar to his Kool Kats series, Tim also has an on going series of artwork of assorted animals/pets. This series has a park bench and back ground that repeats for each painting. The animal and the colors change nto reflect different feelings or themes.
Tim also creates small-ish oil paintings of various scenes. These works reflect his impressions. As you would expect from his other works, these are full of color and fun. In addition he has a series of fine art acrylic paintings on stretched canvas.
Tim has a Bachelors and a Masters in Art Education. Since November 2001 his creations have been exhibited in galleries and competitions throughout Kentucky and southern Ohio.
