Kick Off Spring With Local Creativity
The Purple Paisley Artisan Market returns this May, bringing fresh energy, spring color, and community spirit to Covington’s historic Scott Street corridor. Join us on Saturday, May 16th from 10 AM to 3 PM for a joyful open-air celebration of local makers, handcrafted goods, and the creative culture that defines our region.
This market offers the perfect mix of artistry and neighborhood charm. Visitors can browse original paintings, handmade jewelry, ceramics, home décor, wellness products, baked goods, textiles, and more. Every item is crafted by local hands, and every artist brings a story worth discovering. You’ll meet makers, learn about their process, and find pieces that feel personal and meaningful.
Part of the Duveneck Art Walk Weekend
This year, our May Local Artisan Market takes place during the 55th Annual Duveneck Art Show, presented by Baker Hunt. For the first time, the historic Duveneck Art Show is being held on Baker Hunt’s Covington campus — just two blocks from Purple Paisley.
Together, we are participating in the newly branded Duveneck Art Walk, a coordinated, walkable arts experience connecting creative locations throughout Covington.
Visitors can:
- Follow a printed Art Walk map featuring participating businesses
- Participate in a passport experience, collecting stamps at each stop
- Enter a community prize drawing with completed passports
- Enjoy special offerings or promotions at participating locations
We invite you to make a day of it — explore the Duveneck Art Show, stroll to Purple Paisley’s Local Artisan Market, and experience the creativity happening throughout the neighborhood.
Explore Covington While You’re Here
The market is only steps away from Purple Paisley, Local Artisan Shop, home to more than 75 local artists throughout the year. Stop inside to discover even more handcrafted work, seasonal items, classes, and gallery offerings.
Make a day of your visit by exploring Covington’s beloved local spots. Enjoy a coffee from Left Bank, grab lunch at Coppins or Agave & Rye, or relax at The Globe or Braxton Brewery after your shopping. Take a moment to stroll past the Cathedral Basilica or wander toward nearby Baker Hunt for more inspiration.
