Catch the light and create something beautiful in this relaxing, hands-on workshop with local artisan Melissa Mauk. In the Prism Glow Suncatcher class, you will design a sparkling hanging sun catcher using shimmering crystals, colorful beads, glass accents, and reflective elements that glow beautifully in natural light.
This beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for anyone who enjoys crafting, decorating, or simply spending a creative afternoon with others. Melissa will guide you step-by-step through the process while encouraging you to make your piece uniquely your own. Whether your style is bright and colorful, soft and elegant, or inspired by nature, you will have a variety of materials to choose from while creating your suncatcher design.
No prior experience is needed. Just bring your creativity and enjoy an afternoon of conversation, inspiration, and hands-on fun. All supplies are included, and each attendee will leave with a completed prism-style sun catcher ready to hang in a window, porch, studio, or favorite sunny spot.
This workshop is designed to be welcoming and relaxing for all skill levels. It also makes a wonderful outing with friends, family, or fellow art lovers. Space is limited to help provide a comfortable and engaging class experience.

Melissa Mauk is the artist behind Bluegrass Craftworks, a woman-owned artisan brand based in Northern Kentucky. She is known for her detailed polymer clay creations, handwoven beaded jewelry, and artistic home décor pieces. Melissa enjoys sharing her love of creativity through workshops that are both approachable and inspiring. Her classes encourage participants to relax, create, and enjoy the process of making something by hand.
