What is On Edge Quilling?
With “On edge” quilling you create a design by gluing paper strips on their edges rather than forming coils. This technique is used to create outlines, sharp angles, straight lines, or more geometric designs, in contrast to the smooth, circular shapes of traditional quilling. This technique is often combined with other traditional quilling methods to create more complex and visually dynamic pieces.
In this class, you will learn to create an on edge outline and fill it with a combination of shapes and colors to create a harmonious, visually engaging design. Your end product can be a greeting card or display piece. Attendees will leave with any leftover strips and the skills needed to create and make their own design at home..
