The Spotted Kool Kat Painting Class invites you to step into a world of color, creativity, and imagination. Join local artist Tim Gold on Saturday, August 15th at Purple Paisley. Tim guides you through the creation of his playful and whimsical Spotted Kool Kat design.
This cheerful cat features bold colors, uneven spots, and expressive shapes that make every painting completely unique. While Tim’s example features a bright green cat covered in colorful patches, your Kool Kat can become anything you imagine. You may recreate the original design, transform it into a portrait inspired by your own feline companion, or invent a cat that exists only in your imagination.
Spotted Kool Kat Painting Class
During this relaxed and beginner-friendly workshop, Tim will guide participants step-by-step through the painting process. Along the way, he will share tips for creating interesting color combinations, playful patterns, and expressive details that give each Kool Kat its own personality.
Because creativity takes center stage in this class, no two paintings will ever look alike. Some artists may choose realistic colors inspired by beloved pets, while others may prefer bright purples, blues, oranges, and greens. Either approach creates a wonderful finished piece full of charm and character.
All materials are included with registration, so there is nothing to bring except your imagination and willingness to have fun. Whether you paint regularly or have never picked up a brush before, this workshop offers an enjoyable and welcoming creative experience.
Meet the Artist
Artist and instructor Tim Gold has spent many years creating colorful and imaginative artwork while sharing his passion for creativity with others. His Kool Kat series has become a favorite among students because it encourages artistic freedom and celebrates individual expression. Tim enjoys helping participants discover their own style while creating art in a supportive environment.
