Purple Paisley Quarterly Update: Welcoming 2026 with New Art & Community

🎨✨ Purple Paisley Patron Quarterly January • February • March 2026

Welcome to a fresh new year at Purple Paisley, Local Artisan Shop! As we step into the first quarter of 2026, we’re excited to share what’s new, what’s coming, and how you can stay connected with our growing creative community.

🌟 Welcoming New Faces We’re happy to welcome several new staff members to the Purple Paisley family this quarter, including Liv Henson, Rachel van Aalt, and Robyn Fleming. Along with Emily and Dana, they help keep the shop running smoothly and warmly greet our patrons each week. Be sure to say hello when you stop in!

🛍️ New Artists to Discover Our gallery continues to grow with fresh talent and creative voices. Please help us welcome these new artists to the shop:

  • Dorothea Balbour – Skin lotion in candle form
  • Tom Dresch – Woodworker
  • Carrie Lecavalier – Encaustic painting
  • Sam McLaughlin – Spray paint artist
  • Anne Schauer – Fused and stained glass

Each brings something unique to Purple Paisley, and we invite you to stop in and explore their work.

🎨 New Year, New Classes A new year is the perfect time to try something creative! Our 2026 class calendar is beginning to fill with hands-on workshops, demos, and artistic experiences led by local artists. Keep an eye on our website and social channels for upcoming classes — spots often fill quickly.

🗓️ Mark Your Calendars: 2026 Events Some favorite annual events are already on the calendar:

  • Scott Street Local Artisan Markets: May 16 and September 19, 2026
  • Purple Paisley Summer Fundraiser: July 18, 2026

The Scott Street Artisan Markets are open to both Purple Paisley artists and community artists. Applications will open later this winter. If you or someone you know is interested in participating, email PurplePaisleyArtisanShop@gmail.com to request an application.

🎨 Artists: Join Our Creative Community We’re always excited to connect with artists who may be interested in joining the gallery. If you know an artist — or are one yourself — especially painters, photographers, or artists inspired by local scenes, we’d love to hear from you. Reach out anytime to start the conversation.

💜 A Simple Way to Support Local Art One of the easiest (and completely free!) ways to support Purple Paisley and our artists is by engaging with us online. Following our pages, liking posts, sharing events, or leaving a kind comment helps more people discover our shop and the incredible local talent we represent.

🌈 Looking Ahead As 2026 unfolds, we’re looking forward to another year filled with creativity, connection, and community. Thank you for supporting local artists and choosing to shop small — every visit truly makes a difference.

We can’t wait to see you in the shop soon!
