🎨 In May, the Spotlight Belongs to the Community
Each May at Purple Paisley Local Artisan Shop, we step back from choosing a single featured artist and instead celebrate the artists our community has chosen to honor.
Our annual “Vote for Your Favorite Local Artist” tradition allows visitors to explore the shop and cast their ballots for the artists who inspire them most.
As voting takes place this month, we are proud to showcase our most recent Community Favorite winners.
👑 2025 Community Favorite — Tara Pugh
Tara’s vibrant mandala dot paintings and mixed-media works radiate color, intention, and joy. Her meditative creative process and welcoming teaching style have made her both a customer favorite and a beloved instructor at Purple Paisley. Her 2025 win reflected the deep connection she has built within our artistic community.
👑 2024 Community Favorite — Dolores Fegan
An innovative fiber artist, Dolores is known for richly textured thread paintings and art quilts filled with dimension and emotion. Her work blends technical mastery with poetic storytelling, inviting viewers to linger and discover new details with every look. Her recognition as a Community Favorite speaks to the lasting impact of her artistry.
