Alberto Gómez known as “Betto” studied photography, print making and drawing while completing his Master Degree in Architecture at the University of Puerto Rico. Although his professional career morphed from museographer to construction manager his interest in the arts were always present. His works that vary from small pen drawings to big format paintings either in paper or canvas have been commissioned by private and corporate collectors. His abstract and figurative paintings incorporate unique integrations of colors and textures while drawing inspiration from memories of a recent past long gone or memories that never were.
